Debra Gray, DNP, MBA, is a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with a focus in adult care, she has received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN), and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Florida International University, and a Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University, she holds an MBA from Strayer University, and a DNP from Walden University. She has been a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, an ambassador of the Phi Nu chapter, and a lifetime Academic member of the Delta Epsilon Iota.
Debra professional designations and licensure as allowed her close to 30 years of experience in the Nursing Field and 20 years within the Academic Arena. Debra holds a plethora of experiences ranging from corporate environment, legal, industrial occupational health, academia, and health care industry. She has published articles mainly within Public Health teaching. Her favorite nursing theorist is Madeleine Leininger, the founder of Transcultural Nursing Theory, Debra believes that understanding cultural biases is a fundamental component of caring for nurses to possess.
With a love for travelling nationally and internationally she has seen some of the wonders of the world such as the Pyramids of Egypt or rushing waters of the Niagara Falls. Her interest includes reading novels, watching cable BritBox TV series with a foundation for Agatha Christie novels which include shows, such as Death in Paradise, Father Brown and Midsummer Murders, she finds pleasure learning about religious studies and cultural diversity. Her motto is live life to the fullest, and focus on the positive… and follow the credence of the word - In all my ways I will acknowledge Him, and he shall direct my paths – Proverbs 3:6
