2017 Education Summit - Call for Abstracts Deadline




The 2017 Summit theme, Our Community of Colleagues, lends itself to programming that reflects the connectedness of nurse educators and practice partners. Presenters will collectively, share their expertise on topics that affect nursing education and quality health care.

All abstracts must reflect the League’s core values – caring, integrity, diversity, and excellence The NLN is especially interested in teaching innovations used in graduate programs.

Under each topic, abstracts should be geared to one of two audiences—emerging educators and more seasoned educators.

  • Basics: descriptive, how-to sessions designed for educators who want to improve their teaching skills, integrate innovative methodologies, and/or investigate creative opportunities for clinical learning.
  • Beyond Basics: how-to sessions designed for educators who want to explore theoretical applications that advance the science and practice (or delivery) of nursing education.
