The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives in a variety of unprecedented and unpredictable ways. Our academic workplaces and learning environments look very different now; the institutions we traditionally rely upon for support, stress relief, and fun are unavailable to us. We may feel heightened levels of stress, which in turn, can lead to acts of incivility. Recommitting to collegiality, community, and civility is more important than ever. This session emphasizes the role of nurse educator as leader in fostering civility and creating healthy work environments in nursing education.
