#NLNVoices University Webinar: The Political Landscape & How Nurse Educators Can Lead During the 115th Congress, 2nd Session
This webinar will outline the National League for Nursing's public policy priorities, the current political environment and the important role of the nurse educator in public policy. This webinar will provide an overview of the NLN’s public policy and advocacy program including #NLNVoices tools & resources, a demonstration of the #NLNVoices Advocacy Action Center, pressing issues before Congress, and how nurse educators can lead the public policy discussion in 2018.
Individuals at all levels of advocacy experience are encouraged to attend, including nurse educators and nursing students.

Speaker/s
Prior to joining the NLN, Christine worked with various organizations on health care policy; legislative and regulatory issues including workforce shortages, provider education, research funding, and cancer policy; and implementation of health care reform. Christine started her career in the government relations departments of the American Cancer Society and the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers, Inc. (now known as the Association of Global Automakers).
Christine currently serves on the Board of Directors for Women in Government Relations. She earned her MA in legislative affairs from the George Washington University and a BA in political science from Lynchburg College.
