National Black Men Nursing Leaders Tell Their Stories
This webinar examines the formation of the National Black Male Nurse Leadership (NBMNL) initiative and shares the impactful stories of its founders that shaped their leadership journeys in nursing. These narratives offer valuable insights for Black male nurse leaders and leaders across disciplines. The session will also outline next steps for fostering mentorship and building communities that promote greater health equity.
Objectives
- Identify the mission and vision behind the National Black Male Nurse Leadership initiative and its role in shaping leadership opportunities for Black male nurses
- Gain insights into the personal and professional stories of the NBMNL founders, highlighting lessons that are valuable for leadership development in nursing and beyond
Explain key components of the ROLE framework and how it serves as the foundational tool for the NBMNL mentoring program
