NLN and Pearson Prentice Hall Health Announce Series of Practice Tests for Nursing Students

New NLN Online Exam Prep Tests Correlate to Prentice Hall Healths Market-Leading Nursing Text

New York, NY.... The National League for Nursing (NLN), the professional organization for nurse faculty, and Pearson Prentice Hall Health, the market-leading publisher of nursing textbooks, today announced a partnership for the distribution of custom NLN online practice tests. These new offerings, exclusively correlated to Prentice Hall Healths nursing textbooks and review guides, prepare students for course exams and for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing licensing examinations, the NCLEX-RN® and the NCLEX-PN®.

The new NLN practice tests will be distributed by Prentice Hall to students by packaging access code cards with their textbooks or through purchases made online at www.prenhall.com or MyPearsonStore.com.

The tests will be aligned with 20 Prentice Hall Health nursing texts covering RN and LPN licensure in 13 areas, including: Fundamentals of Nursing Care, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, Maternal-Newborn Nursing, High-Acuity Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, and Community Health Nursing, among others.

The NLN is noted for its valid and reliable norm-reference tests. Using the NLNs tests allows nurse educators to make valid inferences about each students ability throughout her or his academic career. NLN tests are trusted assessment and evaluation tools from pre-admission to graduation. The NLN will introduce two masters-level tests in pharmacology and pathophysiology this fall.
