Two NLN Titles Named 2017 Book of the Year Award-Winners

• Teaching with ACE.S: A Faculty Guide; edited by M. Elaine Tagliareni, EdD, RN, CNE, FAAN — 3rd place in the category Gerontological Nursing
  
  A publication of the NLN Center for Excellence in the Care of Vulnerable Populations and dedicated to the late Dr. Andrea Mengel, a co-creator of the ACE.S project and trailblazer in geriatric nursing, this book provides a roadmap for the implementation of NLN's signature program: Advancing Care Excellence for Seniors (ACE.S). The first section offers the foundational evidence for the ACE.S framework and evaluation of the total project; the second section presents exemplars of how faculty, many of them NLN Hearst Foundations Award winners, applied the ACE.S framework to their unique curricula.

Each chapter, coauthored by an expert in interprofessional education, presents a broad perspective on how to create, deliver, and evaluate meaningful interprofessional education and collaborative practice learning opportunities.
