NLN Foundation Welcomes New Leaders to Advisory Council
Washington, DC — The National League for Nursing Foundation for Nursing Education proudly welcomes two new members to its advisory council: Richard Jordan of Kaye/Bassman International Corp. and Sebastian Vos of ExamSoft. These members will join a group of 11 other top leaders from the healthcare industry spectrum who provide expertise, guidance, and development insight to advance the mission of the Foundation.

“As a nurse educator advocate, the advisory council gives me the opportunity to share what I see and hear from the marketplace and to learn what leaders in nursing education are hoping to do for the future of the nursing profession,” said Dr. Richard Jordan, executive search consultant with Kaye/Bassman International Corp (KBIC).

"ExamSoft is honored to join the NLN Foundation Advisory Council. What better time to join than the Year of the Nurse and Midwife! The NLN Foundation has long been a champion of excellence in nursing education. For 22 years, ExamSoft has dedicated itself to the creation of solutions that harness the power of data to transform learning for everyone, everywhere. We look forward to contributing to the transformative work of the NLN Foundation as it creates solutions to the challenges facing the field of nursing and nursing education, resulting in a brighter future for us all,” said Sebastian Vos, CEO of ExamSoft.

Chief Clinical Officer of AMN Healthcare and NLN Foundation for Nursing Education Board of Trustees Chair Cole Edmonson, DNP, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, FAAN, FAONL, said, “I am truly inspired by these incredible thought leaders both individually and as a group. This council both impacts the future of nursing education and healthcare by bringing together leaders from academia, technology, publishing, workforce placement, and more sectors while also supporting present programs that help the NLN Foundation achieve its goals."

This advisory council is of high importance to the NLN Foundation and the future workforce of nurses. "One of our reasons for establishing an advisory council for the Foundation was to build a network of leaders who bring vital perspectives with a spirit of collaboration to the challenges facing our profession, and who can work together to develop effective solutions," said NLN CEO Beverly Malone, PhD, RN, FAAN.

The NLN Foundation Advisory Council members have committed to a renewable four-year term and will meet two times per year.
