| Washington, DC — An abrupt transition to online learning has led to a lengthier wait for pre-licensure nursing students to sit for NCLEX exams. In response, the National League for Nursing has ramped up its NCLEX readiness review capabilities, offering a day-long Zoom review session with professional facilitators and an expanded arsenal of test prep tools students may access directly. Additional changes to NLN Testing Services promise to significantly improve the testing experience for administrators, proctors, and licensure candidates alike during this challenging time.

With campuses not yet open, students can continue their NCLEX preparation and refresh testing strategies from home. Students may self-register for a new seven-hour NCLEX Readiness Live Review on Zoom with an NLN Nurse Educator Facilitator who will cover the latest information from NCSBN, review the test blueprint, discuss strategies to be successful on the exam, and help students create an ongoing study plan while awaiting their NCLEX test date.
Included with registration are access to the NLN Practice End of Program Exam; NLN Practice Comprehensive Nursing Exam; and six-month access to NLN NCLEX Electronic Flashcards, which include practice NCLEX test items. The package, a $220 value, is offered at a significant student discount.
The NLN Testing Services Examination Portal has retooled to improve security, scheduling, analytics, accounting, registration, test administration, and more. For example, institutional administrators will enjoy new features that facilitate scheduling of day-long testing events and proctor assignments; a new inventory system for tracking exam credits; and new score reporting layouts and analytics.
New roles have also been created for proctors and exam candidates. Students will find a more user-friendly interface to register for practice tests and exams and to access their test score reports. With enhanced security features, proctors will be better able to handle student check-in and authentication and securely administer exams offered both in-person and remotely.
