Dr. Malone Lauds Prestigious Awards Program for Recognizing Importance of Nursing Education to Health Care Equity
Washington, DC — Modern Healthcare, a leading publication in the health care field, has once again chosen Beverly Malone, PhD, RN, FAAN for a coveted spot on the magazine’s list of 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare. Since 2015, Dr. Malone as the president and CEO of the National League for Nursing has been consistently included in this elite annual ranking of 100 top health care executives, medical professionals, policymakers, and leaders in government, business, and the nonprofit sector.
“I am extremely gratified to have my work on behalf of the National League for Nursing recognized among such illustrious company. In January 2020, Modern Healthcare also named Dr. Malone one of five inaugural Minority Healthcare Luminaries. A year earlier she was chosen one of the Top 25 Women in Healthcare, also following two consecutive years on the list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.
