| Want to Learn More About Advocacy? Join the NLN on December 8 Each and every day, legislators address major policies impacting health care and nursing. Join the NLN for a webinar on December 8 at 3:00 pm ET that outlines the League's public policy priorities and the important role of the nurse educator in public policy. This webinar will provide attendees with an overview of the NLN's public policy and advocacy program, NLN resources, pressing issues before Congress, and what nurse educators can do to engage as informed advocates and support NLN's public policy priorities. More Cosponsors Needed for H.R. 2713 Earlier this year, Representatives Lois Capps (D-CA) and David Joyce (R-OH) introduced H.R. 2713, the Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act . H.R. 2713 reauthorizes the Title VIII nursing workforce development programs at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and also amends the advanced educating nursing (AEN) grants to include clinical nurse specialists and clinical nurse leaders in the AEN definition. H.R. 2713 ensures the Title VIII programs will continue to address the specific needs of the nursing and nurse faculty workforce as well as patients in our communities. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
