Achieve & Sustain Excellence in Nursing Education

Having well-prepared faculty means a balance of staff with varying expertise from clinical practice to research and education. A team composed largely of researchers with few academic leaders will not have the leadership needed to guide curriculum innovation, contribute to the work of the academy, engage in evidence-based teaching practices, transform nursing education, and build the science of nursing education. Check out NLN’s Excellence in Nursing Education Model for key elements needed to achieve and sustain excellence in nursing education.

Share Your History - Submit Your Photos for #NLNSummit18

The League is gearing up for the 125th Summit and is on the lookout for snapshots in nursing education history. Pictures are worth a thousand words – and highlight important times in our lives. As we celebrate 125 years of being the voice of nursing education, we invite you to share in our journey to capture the history of our industry. We’re looking specifically for photos of when you graduated from your nursing program, in action teaching nursing students, or maybe the moment you decided to become a nursing educator. Submit your photos today and you may see them in the promotion of our 125-year celebration culminating at the NLN Education Summit in September.
