The National League for Nursing and the Department of Homeland Security has partnered up to offer a FREE two-part webinar that will discuss the various different roles and responsibilities in nursing with the Department of Homeland Security. This webinar is designed for any nurse or prospective nurse who is interested in learning more.

Objectives

  • Examine various roles and responsibilities of nurses within the Department of Homeland Security
  • Identify work skills and experience needed to expand current practice for potential employment with the Department of Homeland Security
  • Learn about joint duty and detailed opportunities nurses have within the Department of Homeland Security
  • Examine requirements of nurses serving within the U.S. Public Health Service and U.S. Customs and Border Protection
