The ABC's of Developing Program Systematic Evaluation Plans for NLN CNEA Accreditation
Interested in learning more about how to develop a systematic evaluation plan for your program? And how you can use the plan to help prepare your program for accreditation? When focused on continuous quality improvement, the process of evaluating your nursing program and pursuing accreditation can be a rewarding experience for faculty and administrators. This session will provide a hands-on learning experience of how to create a systematic evaluation plan that is realistic, standards-driven, and helpful in preparing your nursing program to engage in the accreditation experience.
Special focus will be placed on the NLN CNEA standards, the evaluation process, and how to develop quality-focused program, faculty and student outcomes for nursing programs of all types.
The early bird fee for this workshop is $250, if registered by January 10, 2018. After that, the fee is $295. Registration closes on Thursday, January 25th, 2018.

Judith A. Halstead, PhD, RN, FAAN, ANEF
Judith is the executive director of the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation in Washington, DC, a position she has held since July 2014. She has over thirty-five years of experience in nursing education with expertise in online education, nurse educator competencies, and evidence-based teaching in nursing education. She is co-editor of the widely referenced book on nursing education, Teaching in Nursing: A Guide for Faculty. Dr. Halstead is the recipient of numerous awards including the MNRS Advancement of Science Award for the Nursing Education Research Section and the Sigma Theta Tau International Elizabeth Russell Belford Excellence in Education Award. She is a fellow in the NLN Academy of Nursing Education and the American Academy of Nursing. She served as the president of the National League for Nursing from 2011-2013.
